AN: Special thanks to N and J, who, without their help, I could not have made it through this fic. One of Jadzia's prompts wasThe birth announcement, in the Prophet, of Albus Severus Potter sparks such a reaction in Snape. What sort of reaction? What does he do when he realizes the Brat Who Lived Again had the gall to name a child after him? How, exactly, does this announcement bring Harry and Snape together into their happy ever after? and I only hope I did it justice. Happy Snarry Holidays, dear Jadzia, please enjoy.

	Needless to say I liked the interaction between Harry and Snape, but it's Ginny's characterization in particular that's excellent. She was a sympathetic character in this, not some evil bitch or whatever. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I could see Harry staring at the memories of the mother he never knew and Ginny not understanding his "obsession" because she'd always had a family and that being a bone of contention between them. 	This was so loverly. Perfect progression through Harry and Snape's relationship, I loved the characterization of Ginny and the boys, and having the familiar connection between Severus and Albus Severus because of their names was an original and brilliant little twist. Oh, God!

This was pure brilliance.

I found myself laughing out loud at Severus and his antics/lines. I usually chuckle at the wit of other writers, but I seriously had to stifle a 'guffaw' or two in the middle of the night. :D

The buildup of Severus and Harry's relationship was wonderful to watch...

I love babies, and the ones here were too cute. I really liked how James kept waving shyly at Severus. Beautifully done.

And of course, the name 'thing' and its power. Great idea! I don't remember reading a fic where that was featured. :D

Aw, this was lovely! I absolutely loved how you wrote James and Albus Severus. They were too cute for words! The UST between Harry and Severus was written perfectly, as well as Severus' reluctant attitude and overall low self esteem. His interactions with the children was adorable, not to mention Harry as a dad was perfect! Just how I imagined him being. ;) Ginny was also a piece of fresh air here. I liked how you portrayed her. :)

What a light hearted story! It made me smile a lot and left a warm feeling in my belly. :)

	This was very romantic. Not what I would expect with Severus and children! It was nice to see his crusty exterior succumb. I also like that there wasn't any major conflict with Ginny: she was unhappy; they faced things and moved on. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I could feel Snape's aggravation at the beginning. I like that Harry fainted at the sight of Snape but Ginny didn't. It was so funny how Snape got little Al to stop crying. I like Ginny's characterization here. I like how eager and soft Snape was with baby Al and how he came to care for James too. I like James' characterization and his little waves to Snape were sweet, he obviously liked Snape and wanted some attention too. I liked the way Snape was fighting his attraction to Harry when he first realized it. I like what Harry says to Severus after Al says their names and they link hands. I also like the way Harry eases his way into a relationship with Snape. The UST was great and the sex scene was hot. I like how you slipped in the 'look at me' part. Overall, a very very good fic!

Brilliant!

The concept for this was truly inspired, and the interactions between Severus and the children were so incredibly well done. I could really see him fitting into the household and being a terrific father-figure.

I'm not generally a fan of Ginny, but I cannot stress how much I appreciated this characterization of her and the way the divorce was handled. All too often Ginny's portrayed as an unrealistic uber-bitch, and it has a tendency to sour the entire story for me, but you wrote this in a way that I can actually envision and enjoy.
