This is an intense, gripping story, but the hopeful ending makes it a very worthwhile read.

I particularly like the way Snape reacts to Harry's visits in the hospital. He never loses his attitude, but his true feelings are just starting to reveal themselves to Harry and the reader.

It wasn't an easy to story to read (for me), but I'm glad I kept going. I'll be thinking about this one for a while.
