Artist's Notes/Disclaimers/Thank you to: Dark Shadows was a supernatural soap opera from the 60's that takes place in a fishing village in Maine and the Collinwood estate that overlooks the town. It has a cult following among many of us who love vampires, werewolves, ghosts, etc. Barnabas Collins is the vampire in the series. Harry is in the role of Vicky Winters whose point of view the series is from for the most part. I encourage anyone and everyone to go check it out. Most of the episodes are condensed and available on Youtube. :D

I love this! It played like a real moving picture, and I've just watched it three times (in addition to the times I've seen it before). Your art, especially your Harry and Snape, seem so full of life--their expressions--and the sparing use of narrative was just enough without being overwhelming. Harry's desperate desire to do something and Snape's resignation were so heartbreaking, and then Snape sort of sacrificing himself again for Harry, in a way, made me sad and proud of him. Your choice of music was so perfect, so haunting and fit the Crossover so well. Of all the crossover art I've seen thus far, this is the most amazing.

I know you had trouble with this--and RL kicking you in the ass--which is why I'm so proud of you right now I could spit! *hearts;

I was riveted by each and every new revelation, anticipating what would come next. My heart took a dive at the end - so sad! I think I'll go watch it again :)

Rana, this is absolutely beautiful and I think my favorite of your works. The little movie played just a graphic novel and the music was perfectly chosen.

And the story! Oh, when I saw the last frame I think I gave a mental sigh and thought that was so Severus.

The drawings were beautiful and perfect and I loved all of them. This is a perfect crossover and I think it fits the prompt perfectly.

Really, I loved this. *hugs you*

Oh wow, this is amazing! The timing and how you move around before getting directly to the text is wonderful-- love that effect! Music is haunting. This must have taken forever, wow. Basically I am in awe of this and can't stop rewatching. ♥

I loved your entry for last year's contest so it's a marvellous surprise to encounter the new one. I love aged!Severus and you're the only artist so far to make me agree with a goateed!Harry.

The end kicked me softly in the ribs. My heart loved it.

This was just breath taking. I've watched it three times now and I still don't think I've seen everything. But to leave it like that....it was love surely and love will find away somehow, I have to believe that at least for these two. Your Severus and Harry are so striking I just adore them. A most brilliant piece of animation/movie I've seen for ages.

The flow of the text, images and music was triple threat of awesome! Harry's desperation, need and urgency came across through your style alone, and I think that must be a harder task than it looks. Well done!

Brilliant! That is beautiful and *sobs* heart-wrenching and I love the music and your style of drawing. Your Harry, grown up and still himself, your wonderful Snape, so in character and yet appealing too. I loved this! Snitches FTW!

Fantastic!
First of all, I love the music-Apocalyptica are one of my faves.
The amination style flowed really nicely and I love your Harry with his chin-tuft and messy hair.
Don't know anything about Dark Shadows but that didn't hinder my enjoyment.

Oh, wow. This is fantastic. What a sad, beautiful story. And the art is wonderful. I especially love your Harry. But your Snape, too. The way you created a vid out of still images, making them seem alive, almost as if they really move, is amazing. And the music! So beautiful. Awesome choice and combined with the art and the story and the motion... just... wow. :)

Fantastic! It's absolutely brilliant. The smooth transition throughout the story, the gorgeous art and the powerfully emotional music, it all comes together to really bring out the story and the emotions of Harry and Severus. Wonderful job!
