Summary: He passes a hand over his face and takes a few seconds to silently, pointlessly curse the Dark Lord, himself, and the wretchedness of magic for burdening him with something so fantastic and absurd as true love for Harry Potter.

	Aww, that was so sweet. Especially how Snape and Harry loved each other for so long and weren't even aware. Snape's emotions are so clearly displayed in his pov, but he refuses to allow Harry to see how he feels until Harry himself accidentally stumbles on it. The ending was a very satisfactory resolution to their feelings. Beautifully done! :D (Reply to this) (Thread)

	So romantic and angsty! Loved it. So much UST, and snark. All the characters were so perfectly canon - that bit with Flitwick was great - I don't know who was done better: Snape or bumbling Harry. Btw, when Harry returned in all his adult glory I just about lost my mind along with Severus. I want more of these two! (Reply to this) (Thread)

	This was so sweetly gentle. I loved the way the relationship developed quietly and slowly. Severus' determination to resist and Harry's determination to help, although in the end it didn't work, as Harry fell "in love" as well. Lovely story. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I have an enormous soft spot for stories where Harry returns to Hogwarts as a teacher and Snape is the headmaster and this story made my soft spot glow. The emotions between the two were SO palpable, and I could truly sense Harry felt more than Severus was realizing. I was on the edge of my seat through the entire story as their "dance" with each other progressed...wishing they would realize what the other felt. Excellent story!

I adore everything about this story. The curse, and how, and why Severus bore it in silence for as long as he did; Harry's insistence that he must help the man, as soon as he realized he was suffering; his realization in the middle of the rite that he loved Severus too much to hurt him that way; Severus' shocky, half-alarmed failure to acknowledge the symptoms of love in himself, or in Harry when he comes back at last.

I adore this. It's SO elegantly, and subtly done.
