Oh, poor Severus. He looks so sad and dispirited. And Harry is almost shaking with anger. I like how his eyes are a bit red, as if he had been fighting his tears. The shadows on the wall ... *shivers* I wanna hug the boys! *goes and hugs her foster sisters instead*

Pure canon. They are absolutely perfect-the difference in their expressions is quite revealing. The green for Severus, red for Harry, shadows on the wall, ill-fitting clothes-all spot on. I just want to cuddle Severus-Harry looks like he can take care of himself. ;) Stunning. I love it.

wow, I love the lighting and their expressions so different but still similar. And of course the shadows showing the abusers is just such a brilliant effect. good work! ^_^

When I saw this, my first thought was about one of my all-time favorite fics, Tira Nog's "Nick in Time/Growing Pains." Of course we don't actually see Snape's abusive family in it, but the ages and the attitudes fit the story in my mind perfectly. I love this : )

This is one of the most brilliant things I've seen. Seriously.

The hurt and anger and tension can be read in every line of Harry's body, from his clenched fists to his red-rimmed eyes. And poor Severus just radiates hopelessness and dejection. You've captured so much emotion - not only in their faces, but their body language, as well.

Bravo.

What strikes me is the almost matter-of-fact look on wee Severus' face, like this is normal; at least Harry knows it is not normal and it makes him angry.

oh, wonderful! Snape is so resigned, so somber, and Harry is just itching to punch his way out of it all. Love the way their connection is made, and the colors used. really gorgeous! :)
