Part 1
Cynthia, Aunt Leenie, Uncle Donny - who the devil are these people? Where’s my Snarry? ::pouts::
"I've a good bit put by," he told her, "and I've sold the house on Spinner's End, as you know. There should be enough to finance a modest cafe."
::peers closely:: Snape, is that you? Hm, must be. Yeah! He’s alive! And going into business with his second cousin. Good for him!
Senior Field Auror Potter
Impressive title Harry has. Also an impressive collection of injuries that he’s recovering from courtesy of a dark artefact. I loved how you explained that due to his healing his appearance has altered quite a bit from normal. And then enter his godson, Teddy, who suggests Water Lilies might be able to provide him with a remedy to help him sleep peacefully. Yes! ::rubs hands gleefully:: Away we go!
I like the title Water Lilies and Lotus Seeds. It appeals to me for some reason.
And Harry and Teddy arrive at the little village and they’re surrounded by Snapes! Gosh and begorra! And Cynthia Snape and Donovan Snape...
He was tall and thin, with what must have been prematurely silver hair, very elegantly cut and styled. His nose was even more pronounced than his niece's, and his eyes were very dark, deep blue. He wore an expensive-looking suit of dark charcoal, and, incongruously, an open-collared silk shirt in vivid blue, patterned with lotus flowers and wading birds.
::gobsmacked:: ...um, thanks for the drool-worthy description...uh huh... ::staggers away::
"Uncle Donny is the real genius behind our custom-blended herbal teas and many of our other products."
::hehehe:: Yes he is, yes he is. 8-D
Something about the way he said "bed" made Harry's cock twitch. He told himself sternly that this was neither the place nor the time to be getting ideas like that!
And Harry’s receptive to Donovan already. Frabjous joy!
Ms. Snape said. "We've received a five-star rating from New Age Destinations magazine," she added proudly.
Snape’s business is doing well! And Snape invites Harry and Teddy to lunch. They talk and enjoy themselves and Harry is already contemplating propositioning Donovan. Oh my goodness, things are proceeding at a very nice pace.
"Uncle Donny! He blushed like a young lass when you gave him the eye!"
And Snape is also feeling something for Ian Jones. Nookie soon, I hope?
It’s thanks to Cynthia that Snape is as well as he is and looking as he does. Now all she has to do is get Harry and Snape together. A tall order but she seems like she has the perseverance to see it through. I like her a lot.
The morning sun gleamed in his silver hair and cast a subtle shimmer off the shoulder of his deep red jacket.
Gah, ugh, oh... :: swallows:: I really like the way you have Snape dressing. Black is nice but a little color never hurts.
"I-- My apologies, Ian. I must go."
::huffs:: Stubborn Snape. Remember, Harry, if you first don’t succeed, try, try again.
"I...have a night-blooming cereus in the greenhouse; it should open tonight, once it's fully dark. Would...you care to see it?" His offer was almost shy.
Oh yeeess! Nice move, Severus. :-)
Harry tilted his head back and pulled the taller man forward, wanting to feel the warm press of his body against him. His hands slipped down to Donovan's back and urged him closer, as he opened his mouth and let his tongue invite Donovan closer, as well.
Hawthawthawt!
Harry was still so dumbstruck at the sight of the Dark Mark that he failed to notice Snape was now staring at his arm...where the St. Mungo's monitoring bracelet was flashing bright orange letters, reminding him of his upcoming appointment.
