You already know how much I love this, but I have to say it here. I really do love it--I knew you'd do something extraordinary. It made me cry several times.
I had lots of questions for which there didn't seem to be an answer--why were folks kept in St Mungo's? Another story for another time, but you kept it 'spare' so that the reader's central focus was on Snape and Harry.
Beautiful language, you have a way with it. The scenes in the garden made me ache, and the two of them alone there with the snapdragons, Snape ending by telling Harry about Lily.
My favorite part was how Snape stored up wrath for the day to come, when he continued to write Harry once he knew who he was. I mentally rubbed my hands together in gleeful anticipation, and oh my! It was delicious
And I liked the ending. They came softly together, Harry making his move and Snape knowing he 'can't let go.'
Just so wonderfully done. This is already in my fav fics file.:) Awesome job, Dragon! We're all so proud of you!
