What an awesome use of your prompts! I love how this ebbs and flows, forward and backward and Gus, I really love Gus! Excellent work!

You already know how I feel about this story, but I'm going to tell you again how wonderfully mystical, descriptive and beautifully written it was. A fabulous job with the prompt, straight 9's. Lovely work!

Devoured whole in one delightful sitting. Oh, this was so good, just the kind of Snarry I crave. Rituals, and angst, and leavings, and reunions, and magic, and battles, and fights with beings more power, and overall--forgiveness... Nummy.

I am so glad we're on the same team! Roooaaarrr!

Amycus and Alecto?! The ugly, dim-witted Carrows?! …Okay, only Amycus was dim-witted and ugly. Alecto turned out to be…quite cruel, diabolical, and not so dumb.

Xavier Augustus Alexander Prince Snape was adorable. Severus Sebastian Alexander Prince Snape was his usual fabulous and snarky self. And Harry James Potter was as always brave and heroic. :D

He could feel the walls closing in on him as his eyes rolled into the back of his head and his body hit the floor.

Harry fainting at the news that he’s a father was hilarious.

The white flame shot out of the athame, wrapping around the demon and searing his skin. Luceferatu yelled, struggling against the binds, but it was no use as the magic pulled the demon back into the Earth. When the flames dissipated, only the charred body of Amycus Carrow remained.

I loved the way Harry and Snape defeated Luceferatu and Amycus. They’re stronger together and powerful enough to defeat a dangerous demon feared even by the Ancients. Fierce!

Highly enjoyable! Wonderful! Awesome!

That was a very satisfying, long, plotty, romantic read. Gus is very cute and Snape his usual prickly, courageous self and Harry is still Harry, but grown up. Poor old Snape, forever the victim of Dumbledore's machinations!

Go Team Dragon!

Quote: "Ron bristled at Snape's veiled insult. Hermione saw Harry shoot Snape a half-pleading, half-warning look. Harry shot Severus a look that was half pleading, half warning." - Double? lol~

I love little Gus, but it does remains me of that mouse in Cinderella Disney animation. Lol~ He's so bubbly and so cute~ The whole story was unbelievably amazing! Love, love will defeat the bad... wow! Took me a long time to finish reading this and I'm glad that I didn't rush read this. It's a story to be read and to be savoured! Thank you!

This was wonderful! You did a wonderful job incorporating bits of DH canon while essentially leaving off at HBP, creating a world that's familiar, but shows just how different things can be.

Harry and Severus' relationship was great, especially the conflict they both felt regarding the situation they were in.

Gus was enchanting and I felt myself grinning at his exuberance on more than one occasion.

This fic has such an interesting way of unfolding the story with different timelines, and I think the structure worked well. I loved learning more about Snape and Harry's lives with each new snippet I was able to glimpse, whether in past or present. Gus was adorable, and there were some truly angsty moments at the beginning the reunion five years after Severus disappeared.

The plot line about the Carrows was very original, and a very nice use of your prompt. I'm glad Severus was able to draw upon his love to bind Luceferatu in the end!

Let's see: you nailed your genre and your prompts. The use of Frost's poem to frame the story was well done. And I liked how you swung between the three time lines, bringing the reader along, so that we were all caught up by the end.

The thing I enjoyed most about your story was the plethora of original magic; the rituals of Albus and Severus, and Amycus and Alecto were all fascinating, and you had a rather unique story-line for the rise of a new Dark Lord. You have my undying devotion for making Lucius a style consultant. Hee.

Gus was adorable, and as kids either drive parents apart or bring them together, I was glad to see him accomplish the latter. Poor Snape, so misused by that old codger, but in the end, he's got his man, slightly the worse for wear due to the well-handled Mpreg.

Well done! I enjoyed my evening of reading, Dragon! ROAR!!!

Ooh, this is delightful. I couldn't stop reading this. 'Gus is such a delightful child, and just the way I think he'd turn out with Severus as a father. I saw that you write in another comment that you don't have children; I'm floored! My son's only a baby, but my daughter is Gus' age and you have that age group totally pegged. Very well done!

I normally hate stories that flick between years, but this was done extremely well. It managed to give me backstory, rather than, well, shit me by flipping around. I don't know how you managed to make me like it given how much I normally hate it, but I liked it a lot. :)

The rest of the fic was fabulous as well. I love Harry's devotion to Severus, and Severus' disregard for Harry. Albus' 'resurrection' was fresh and wonderfully played out. I think it was great that you went so far back in time to establish a bond between Severus and Harry. Absolutely brilliant work all round.

Perfect use of your prompts-I love (well, I'm sure you know what I mean) that poor Severus ends up pregnant from the spell. Gus was just adorable. Very intricately woven-several strands all coming together in the end. If I were Harry I'd being moving to the South of France with them in a heartbeat too! *g* Great story!

Wow that was quite the ride! What an original fic.
You really did use your prompts well, and initially I thought the going back and forth from present to past would be confusing but it really wasn't, so well done!
And yes, I agree with everyone else. Gus was adorable. ;)

Well done. I wasn't sure when I first saw that you were switching through time frames, but it all hung together well and was very easy to follow. Your characters were very IC and, same as everyone else, I just loved Gus. A lovely morning read.

I enjoyed this very, very much.

Just so you know HOW much I enjoyed it, I don't actually care for MPreg that much - so many fics are horribly done when it comes to that, which is unfortunate.

When it's as well done as it is here (and like the Breathe Series), it is a joy to read. The use of the time changes were effective too. You did a great job balancing between all the timelines and that's not always easy to do.

And yeah for the happy ending!
