Didn't have the chance to comment yesterday when I read the story, for it kept me wildly involved until I reached The End at four o'clock in the morning.
I loved it! One of the stories you almost physically can't turn away from. If it were twice longer, I think I would have ended up reading into the next day. The political intrigue is intense, Harry's future self incredibly satisfactory, and I *adored* the hi-tech ideas spread throughout the story. Newlin being Snape is, of course, obvious immediately, - however, Harry didn't have the benefit of a fic header knowledge, did he?
Right. I personally was a bit disappointed with the ending, for I do not appreciate too much a James Bond Super Quatra-Crossing Devious Agent Snape. I prefer the good old pathetic canon variety. Besides, all the grand plan that Snape here appears to have concocted is a little (a lot, in fact) too much for me to wrap whatever brain I have around. Pity all his machinations weren't clearly explained in the aftermath.
All in all, I couldn't turn away and was fascinated out of my wits by the lightning-fast pacing of the plot and loveable characters.
