This was an enjoyable read – you use language very beautifully, and it felt poetic in parts without being pretentious or try-hard. I liked your Harry very much – full of life and happiness. I'm glad he didn't find out about the affair, because it would have killed him. I wondered why Snape was having the affair – I guess I would have liked a tiny bit more acknowledgement from him that he was doing something wrong, even if he didn't feel especially guilty. Did he start the relationship with the shopkeeper before he got together with Harry – and neglect to end it? I liked the ending – the subtle way that Snape ends the affair, the way you downplay his realisation that he's being an arse and he has all he needs in Harry :D I don't think I would have enjoyed a confrontation. (This is a slightly rambling way of saying I don't really like infidelity in fics, but I did enjoy this! <3 ).
