Thank you so very much for such an encouraging feedback! It's so good to know what I had intended for the story wasn't lost in the translation process of brain to fingers to keyboard. I wanted Snape to get a second chance at life, and I wanted Harry to be there for him this time the way he couldn't when he was a child. The clone idea emerged out of my sci-fi-addled brain and I knew I needed to bring Snape back even if in this particular post-DH world he truly was dead. I'm really glad the clone + Pensieve idea worked for you.
I've loved Eileen since HBP, and she's grown into being one of my favorite HP characters; I had a lot of fun writing her. With Eileen and Harry primed to stay close to Snape in the end, Snape will have enough love and support to tackle the challenges of living a second life :)
I'm absolutely thrilled that you liked this. Thanks!
