I don't much care for a particularly romantic Snape, so I was a bit biased coming into this, had some trouble seeing him take on a softer characterization. But there is the postwar to factor in, the easing of life as he knew it. And his voice is good, sharp and snappish.
Great juxtaposition of the voyeurism scenes, highlights the irony. I liked the back-and-forth effect of this story. Also some great dialogue. But my favorite aspect would have to be your creative take on "spilling fire." What poetry, I thought, calling a thunderstorm spilling fire. And then you connect the strange, blazing intensity of it to their own emotions, and it adds that deeper level of awesome. It's so very Snarry. ;)
