	oh lovely! I like that Harry is quite real, especially in the beginning when he is still angry at snape, because it is much easier to forgive a dead person...I also like that you mentioned how war changes people! I don't much care for a particularly romantic Snape, so I was a bit biased coming into this, had some trouble seeing him take on a softer characterization. But there is the postwar to factor in, the easing of life as he knew it. And his voice is good, sharp and snappish.

Great juxtaposition of the voyeurism scenes, highlights the irony. I liked the back-and-forth effect of this story. Also some great dialogue. But my favorite aspect would have to be your creative take on "spilling fire." What poetry, I thought, calling a thunderstorm spilling fire. And then you connect the strange, blazing intensity of it to their own emotions, and it adds that deeper level of awesome. It's so very Snarry. ;)

You know, reading this was like dancing at the edge of a cliff with a very skilled partner; you trod dreadfully close to the pitfalls of the their past, but ultimately kept the story on firm, if unfamiliar, ground. The characterization here is brilliant, the more so because Snape is still Snape, even as Harry is still Harry, and their interaction fells spontaneous and alive.

Interesting story...I enjoyed the ongoing tension, from Snape's first visit to Harry's, through Harry's issues with Ginny et al., to their sexual tension on the ship and after. I felt as curious as Harry about Snape's relationship with Blanch, and how Snape was cured. In fact, I would have liked to see more--the story felt just a bit "rushed" to me--but overall a very enjoyable read. Oh, and the wanking/voyeurism was hot.

	Wondrefully done! Severus and Harry on a ship does funny things to me. It just seems so sexy! And that wasn't even teh main part of the story. Never-the-less ... ahhhhhh! (Reply to this) (Thread)

I enjoyed the setting, and the voices in the story rang true for me, especially Snape's vulnerability and insecurity, which he tries so hard to suppress/hide. I'd have liked to see more of Harry's interactions with Ron & Hermione, and especially of Snape's with Blanch; I was really curious about the way they greeted each other, and would have loved to get more back story/development.

Nicely done overall, and of course I'm pleased with the happy ending. :)

This was a very well-crafted story. It unfolded plausibly with a still-recovering Snape going to Harry for help. Both head off on a slow ship journey to the Falklands and tension builds nicely between them as they slowly get to like and appreciate one another better...much better. The ending was wonderful!

"No. Don't— just... don't. I owe you for everything you've done to help me, and... we all do things we regret. Things that we wish we hadn't been forced to do. When I saw your memories, I..." Harry smiled faintly, uncertainly. "It doesn't matter what I thought. But I'm not as angry as I was, you know? I don't blame you entirely." And now his emerald green eyes met his head on. "So. What can I do to help?"

I loved this. Harry is simply note-perfect. He still has issues with Snape but understands why he did what he did and is willing to let bygones be bygones. This scene was exactly what I wanted desperately to see happen in Book 7. Thank goodness for fanfiction!

I remember reading the beginning of this in the team comm and wanting to know more -- so glad I finally got to read the rest of the story! I enjoyed this. What captured me the most was the "spilling fire" scene. It created such a vivid mental image for me: thunders, flashing "fires" of lightning, the rolling sea in the midst of a thunderstorm, the rain, and of course Snape and Harry in the middle of it all... powerful stuff.
