Oh, honey!
Where do I begin with this masterpiece?
That was GLORIOUS! From the first bits with Severus and Regulus to Harry and his interactions at the Ministry with Draco and Ron to the PLOT (OMG, so twisty/turny) and the delicious snark and the Draco/Charlie, protective!Harry (and protective!Snape), it was the PERFECT Saturday afternoon read. *happy sigh*
There were so many luscious lines here I don't even know where to begin. You really captured Severus' essence and I LOVE your Harry as well as your Ron/Hermione, Rose was adorable, and even the villains were well done. *glee*

So, to sum up, I ADORED this fic. You ROCK!
*dances*
Yay Team Phoenix!

Wow. Like [info]alisanne first I must say thank you for spending Saturday afternoon entertaining me. *g* I adored Snape's two sided book shop, that the 'villains' were women was unique, and the little details like Harry going to welcome Rose. And Regulus! Oh, I loved his role. I can't possibly point out everything I loved but this was a gripping tale, with a very satisfying ending. ;) Great job.

I was annoyed at being stuck at home on a Saturday afternoon till I found this. What a clever, hilarious story! I adored Regulus' role ("being a portrait wasn't all it was cracked up to be," heh) and Lotte Mahlingren (awesome name, though I really wanted to see her redeemed). And Snape is just a delight!

Oh Leela, leela, leela! Masterpiece. An absolute classic. Everything about this fic was just perfect. I adore Regulus in his portrait, and the tenderness he shares with Snape, as well as his fondness for Harry, and his desire to see them together coupled with his touch of jealousy.

I loved that you had Draco in this fic, and that he was happy and cared for by Charlie.

I loved the wonderful plot you weaved, clever but not difficult to follow as can sometimes happen in a fic of this length.

I loved the way you built the tension between Harry and Snape, how Snape felt like he was the only one who should be protecting Harry. I loved their telepathic conversations, helping each other through their shared ordeal.

There is nothing, not a single word I would want to see changed. Just fabulous, darling.

Flic xxx

Danger! Excitement! Things going explodey! UndercoverAuror!Harry! Severus saving people! Bad guys doing bad things to our Heroes! Yesyesyes!! Me likes! Me likes a lot!

::gets a grip on self:: Ahem, I just want to say that I found this to be an Utterly Brilliant Story! 'Twas a sheer delight to read, yes indeedy. So many fascinating details such as Snape's mother's crystal dragon, Portrait!Regulus, Charlie/Draco OTP, chocolatechoclatechocolate, Susurra Tacere, and Strix, Snape's large black banded owl, just to name a few. I loved the mystery of the Death Furies, the investigation, and eventual revelation of who comprised this dastardly group. And hurty!Snape and hurty!Harry is always a good thing! ...er, well you know what I mean, right? ::looks beseechingly::

He picked up the coffee she had given him, sniffed it cautiously, and then banished the contents. Did she honestly believe him stupid enough to drink something offered to him by a relative stranger?

Constant Vigilance!! Snape, still paranoid as ever. :) Just the way I like him.

Fabulous story to be read again and again and again! Great job!

This was a Saturday afternoon well spent. I loved the story. I especially love how you turned Cho into confused and deceived villian. I can totally see that happening.

Amazing story, well thought out plot and great ending for our heroes.

Excellent story with lovely characterizations and a real, complicated plot that hung together the whole way. Love the name you came up with for Harry's boss, an echo of JKR's wordplay. Best of all...chocolate volcanos!

Despite this being for the other team, this was absolutely excellent. I love how you drew out the attraction between Harry and Snape -- the little noticing, the grudging respect. Draco and Charlie was unusual, but worked. And chocolate... mmm. The mystery angle worked well, too, sufficiently different to be intriguing. And Regulus? I'd love to see what happens when Harry and Snape have their portraits painted :)

Fantastic! I loved every single bit of this story. I love Regulus as a portrait, I love Draco and Charlie together, I love the whole idea of the Furies and the mystery surrounding them... But most of all - I lovelovelove! how you've characterized Harry and Snape. Fantastic long yarn. Whee! I know I'll be rereading this one. ;)

*sigh*

Well, it's taken me all day to read this, and I enjoyed every minute of it. ♥

I really like both your Snape and Harry here, and I especially like "portrait Regulus" - he's a wonderful addition to an interesting and exciting story.

I like the way you build the attraction between Snape and Harry - sometimes they just seem to "love" each other all of a sudden, but your development worked very well for me here.

Since the story is so long, there are many, many things I liked; it would take way too long to mention them all. They well and truly over-rode the two tiny things that made me blink, but I changed them as I read, so that was all right.

The main thing I liked was that this is a long, well written Snarry, that kept me interested and involved and impressed THE WHOLE WAY THROUGH. A first-class piece of story writing.

Go you!

Great use of the prompts, and I love Portrait Regulus and his relationship with Snape. Also the plotting and some very good action sequences (not something that one sees very often).

I have just spent a very pleasant afternoon reading this story, it was great fun. Well crafted and full of lovely characterisations. I adored Regulus and Charlie and Draco too. I loved harassed Ron and Hermione, new parents to baby Rose and I also loved the way that the relationship between Snape and Harry developed slowly over time.

Lovely story

Thank you

That was just wonderful!

Severus rang up the book, smirking when he read the title. For the Relief of Unbearable Urges. With those splotches on the cover, it required no comment, he thought, slipping the receipt and a message between the pages of the book.

Lol, leave it to Severus to make an educated guess and half-foul it up.

I love how you weaved in the past--the people that Harry left behind, that come back to bite him on the ass. I'm not usually for whodunits, but this was very nicely done. Bravo!

I absolutely loved, loved this. A long fic with mysteries and intriguing plot twists! You've woven a wonderful tale that has so much magic of its own -- I adore portrait!Regulus and all those bits of little details that reminded me Harry lives in a magical world where background magic is commonplace. Wonderful use of all the characters -- you've created an organic alternate universe where people's lives are moving forward from the war, whether for good or evil. I especially liked the glimpses of domestic worries between Draco and Charlie, showing me that things aren't happening in a vacuum even if the story is only focused on a small cast of them.

And I loved your Harry and Severus. It was great to see how their relationship moved closer bit by bit, throughout the course of a long fic. And to think that the ending of the story is just the beginning for them! I am sighing in happiness :)

Thanks for an utterly satisfying read! Go Team Phoenix!!!

Leela, what I like most about this fic is that I accept it from the start; what I mean is that, of course Draco's an accountant and Severus has a bookshop—of course Harry's always getting on his supervisor's tits: you present things naturally, and your storytelling is smooth. I enjoyed reading this fic so much that, every time someone interrupted me, I became rather unpleasantly grumpy because I didn't want to stop. Plot, characterization, pacing—every aspect works delightfully well! Regulus is an inspired addition, and the Snarry is thoroughly satisfying. You've given us a lovely, plausible, multi-layered mystery without belaboring any aspect of it, and you deliver quite a measured, romantic ending that isn't overdone and leaves room for future development between Severus and Harry.

I could go on, but I'd prefer to go reread now. *huggles you* Thank you for this story; it's just a pleasure to read! ♥
