Very interesting! I have wondered how much of their experiences the 'war veterans' would impart to the next generation and how it would affect the children. This version had me shivering -- when I picture Teddy smiling as he asks about his father, it's disturbing and a little sociopathic.
I liked Harry here: still himself, still a bit oblivious, but also older, more desperate, in many ways a better match for Snape than he could have been without some of his recent experiences.
