Closing Ceremonies: Tribute Video
As a final tribute to all the talented artists who made the Games a success this year, I've put together a tribute vid featuring the art of all participants who granted me permission. Here is the download/watching info...

Download The Snarry Art Games 2007 Tribute Video
Watch Download The Snarry Art Games 2007 Tribute Video (YouTube)

File Size: 47 MB
File Type: .WMV
Song: "Goodbye My Lover"
Artist: James Blunt
Summary: It is a sad and cheesy song, but this is a sad and cheesy time for Snarry shippers I think. I hope it captures the spirit of the Games.
Warnings: All the same ones which go with the entries; however I did try to keep the video as low key as possible

Congratulations to all the medal winners and thank you to all the artists who gave me permission to use their work and to the fantastic mods for putting together a wonderful fest this year.

What an incredible showcase for such a diverse range of art. You found the heart of each piece and wove them together to tell a thousand versions of the same story. And the song worked - cheesy or otherwise - the whole tone of it really fit the art as you displayed it.

Couldn't ask for a better tribute!

I loved it! Thank you so much for making it again.

and there really is a sad tone to it but no matter how sad and cheesy this isn't the end, far from it, if it were up to me anyways.

Wonderful job! it was an amazing tribute, you really got to the heart of the pieces.

Brilliant.

I nearly cried, I'm still tearing up.

It brought me down memory lane of my favorites and a few that I've missed (goes back through the games for those :D).

I also loved the way you sync'd up the lyrics with certain pieces and how everything just flowed so well.

Tribute video has been removed from You Tube on account of TOS violation ... so they say. :-( It is also not at the download link.

Sheesh. This one too? I have backed up all my videos on IMEEM and akemi42.com so I will try to update these links. YouTube has been giving me such a headache that I think I will move to IMEEM permanently.

Downloading now from akemi.42. YouTube has been giving plenty of headaches lately, especially for fanvidders. Seems the **AA (or as I call 'em, the "Record Mafia")is putting the squeeze on. And no, they don't care that the footage used is original, otherwise they wouldn't be bringing out the legal artillery after moms who upload cute home videos of their toddlers bopping to Prince on the radio. Twits!

There was a court case involving a home video on YouTube. The mom who shot it filed a DMCA counter notice and the court ruled that the copyright owners needed to consider fair use before removing a video. So I don't know why they don't apply the same rules to vidders. I also think I might be flagged for having so many violations.
