Title: Positioning Study No. 32

Artist's Notes: From Epithalalium, Part III, The Beginning of Forever. Sometimes the sketches just make the words flow better. My thanks to the Snarry Games Mods. Woo Hoo! What a ride!
Media used: Pencil and Moleskine Sketchbook; Pocket Artist for some minor touch-ups.
Archiving/Usage permission, including the Tribute Video (only after the polls have closed and medals have been awarded): Sure. Would like to know about anything/where else, though.

Mod note: This is a last minute pinch brought to you by the most excellent record keeper of this year's Games, I Got Tired of Waiting. We ended up short one entry in the nth hour, and she came through for us, and Team Romance. Thank you, IGToW! ♥

"Just..." Harry faltered. Looking down at his lap, he said quietly, "Just don't do it again, please. I almost lost you yesterday and..." he got up from the table to stand gazing unseeing out the closed window. "I was frantic..."

Severus set his napkin on the table and, rising, went over to the window to sit in the deep cushioned seat. Cocking one knee up near the glass to make room for Harry, the other dangling over the side, he got comfortable and called out softly, "Come here, love."

With no hesitation, Harry climbed up next to him, nestling in the crook of his arm. Severus threw his free leg over his husband's lap, effectively pinning him between his legs, drawing him down until he leaned into him, head on his shoulder. His free hand moved Harry's hair to the side and, lips lingering, he kissed the old faded scar. His fingers gentling Harry's face, he murmured, "As I said last night, you won't be so easily rid of me..."

Oh, psh. If we start playing that game, we'll be here all night while I go and prostrate myself at the Altar of... well, I'd pick a name, but hell. There're a lot. Hence the "all night" ;).

Me, I'm just happy to see a whole lot of Snarry by different people. I'm a bit lazy about seeking out art etc, so this is particularly nice because it delivers a big pile of deliciousness to my flist page :D.

	The self-deprecation aside ;), it's an incredibly lovely thing to say, and I'm very blushy-pleased :). Yay Snarry! I can't even begin to describe how happy the Games make me. Ooooh, I likes it when my stuff is appreciated! (I originally wrote 'stolen,' but that doesn't quite sound upright and positive. And you made me feel upright and positive! :)

Also, YOURS is one of the first fics I read when I came upon Snarry fandom - the Continuation story. I know you said it was a sequel to Amireal's story, and I did save it to read EVENTUALLY, but I LIKE YOURS BETTER! I don't now if I interpreted everything the way I was supposed to, but...IT'S SNARRY. What's not to love? ;)

And bless you for your comments on Bring Me to Life. I wrote that so long ago I often forget about it, but it's always very nice to know some people still remember the first story I ever 'published'. Thank you for that. *Goes off to purloin--with proper credit, of course--more icons* ♥

nice to know some people still remember the first story I ever 'published'.

Probably b/c got into the fandom after the fic was written and so by the time it is 'old' to the fandom, it is still 'new' to me. Plus, I make up for reading up on old fics by taking a really long time to find the new ones.

Plus the fact that I spend more time than normal thinking up of ways to 'get back to Rowling' for the literary masterpiece that was DH.

Because deep down inside, I am an 80-year-old woman who owns 20 cats. :P
