Artist's Notes: I spent a lot of time brainstorming exactly how I wanted to do this art, and one day sitting down and doing it having realizing that I missed the deadline by a day. I want to thank my team members in helping me decide which way Snape would be scariest...and I hope this fits the bill! I guess its more of a subtle creepy than in-your-face horror, but I think that provides more for the imagination. And it also fits our two favorite characters best!

I prefer subtle creepy to all out gore--it's scarier that way. Don't worry about the "horror" part of the prompt because you nailed it. Snape looks so sinister and Harry looks completely horrified by the blood on his hand (I wonder if that is literally and figuratively). Their expressions are wonderful.

Delightfully spooky, especially at this time of year. Of course, being a staunch citizen of De Nile, I must interpret the scene as yet another of Harry's nightmares. No doubt it was caused by Ol' Moldyshorts, who has nefarious designs on poor Severus -- and I *don't* mean making a play for his wand. Er, not the magical one anyway. ;-)

OMG, Snape's face over the door is so awesome! And I love Harry's expression and the blood on his hand and the little spooky snakes. This turned out great! I LOVE how creepy it is!

I didn't comment when I voted this morning due to hangover but now I've come back I realise that the wisp's coming from Snape are actually snakes, that's genius. I also love the shadowing on Harry's face. Great entry.

Nicely done! I like the form you had ghost!Snape take- the hair is wickedly appropriate, and the blood nicely angsty. Harry's in for a bit of a scare!

I like this, it is subtle and gives you a little creeping feeling up your spine. The ghostly Severus upside down behind him, the blood... leaves you wondering. Nicely done.
