“Harry, where are you going?” Hermione asked him, just as he reached the door.

 

“Lessons, with Snape.” Harry answered in a bored tone.

 

Hermione and Ron shared a concerned look.

 

“Three nights a week, every week, for …” started Ron.

 

“No. Stop it.” interrupted Harry. “I know he’s a snarky git, but Dumbledore made me promise to learn all that I could from him. I am not going to go back on my word.”

 

“But Harry,” Hermione cut in, “ Voldemort has been gone for three years!”

 

“I know that, Hermione,” Harry said as a blush stole over his cheeks.

Harry and Severus sat cuddled together, relaxing on the couch.

 

“So they finally broached the subject,” Severus said insultingly. “So much for Ms. Granger’s intelligence and Mr. Weasley’s Gryffindor bravery.”

 

“Yeah, but now that they know,” hedged Harry, “I was thinking…”

 

Severus raised his eyebrow.

 

“I do think sometimes,” Harry laughed, but turned sober quickly. “Maybe we could move our relationship to the next level.”

 

“I was unaware that there was a level after regular sex.”

 

“Well, maybe I could stay… the night… after said regular sex.”

 

“You may stay, Harry, as often and for as long as you wish.”
