"Did you like it, Harry?"

"I loved it! It was hilarious, yet it makes such strong points about class and prejudice."

"Indeed. Oscar Wilde was a very special man, but his life ended sadly."

"Why, Severus?"

"He was imprisoned for sodomy."

Harry's eyes showed his surprise. "Imprisoned? You could be sent to prison for having sex?"

"If you were a man who loved men. It wasn't until the 1960s that the Muggles decriminalised it. Thank Merlin the wizarding world is more enlightened."

That made Harry thoughtful. He'd always considered wizarding society backward compared to Muggles, but not about homosexuality, apparently.
