Harry was pleased with himself. He'd left without pushing.

The kiss had been mutual, but Harry wanted more: all that wonderful, hot passion seething inside Snape's stony façade. He hadn't taken it, because as they kissed he'd felt tremors running through Severus' body. Not passion – though it was there. Fear.

Harry left, smiling and promising a future with his eyes. A future Severus wasn't ready for.

He'd got it wrong before. Now, however difficult, he would get it right.

Harry lay on his bed, loosened his jeans and reached for the lube. Wooing Severus properly was going to be hard.
