Severus slapped the Prophet down on the table, causing his breakfast crockery to rattle. The wretched hero was on the cover again, opening a new hospital ward. What was worse – he looked bad.

Severus amended the thought. Potter never looked bad. He was too damned handsome to look anything but good. He looked ill: bags under his bloodshot eyes. What was the matter with him?

It couldn't have anything to do with Severus' treatment of him. It certainly could not. And he had nothing to feel guilty for, he'd already decided on that.

And he didn't miss him. Certainly not.
