arionrhod and I wrote another SnB AU: Your True Love's Coming.

This is a sequel to Journeys End in Lovers Meeting, which we wrote back in 2005 (OMG has it really been that long? o.O) when we were given an AU prompt to write about our Snark and Bark boys. This was pre-Gaius, so it was only Severus and Serenus at the time, and we wrote about how Severus and Remus might have gotten together under those circumstances.

We thought it only fair that Serenus and Tybalt didn't get left out of the loop, and so now here's their story.

In honor of Severus' and Remus' anniversary (and the anniversary of McKay and I starting our long and successful collaboration!), we commissioned a piece of art from the lovely and talented karasu_hime. Karasu produced the lovely pic you'll find below the cut - please, no taking, but feel free to comment to let her know how great she is! WARNING - BIG IMAGE BELOW CUT!

Arionrhod and I have been kicking around the idea of writing a story set in the future of the SnB-verse, focusing on the next generation of Snape kids, and finally, we did it! This story focuses mostly on Cymbeline, but all the other kids - including some not yet born in-game! - show up to varying degrees, so it's a sneak peek at what life has in store for the next generation.

Part one is up now, and I'll add the rest over the next few days.

Everyone should have an Uncle Regulus and Uncle Gaius to coax them into, ah, considering the right thing. :-)

Severus's understanding and handling of his disappointment was -- well, "nice" isn't the right word, but it was lovely to see a situation where everyone meant well and there was no way around hurting people's feelings and yet the person hurt was capable of understanding both that it wasn't about him and that he felt hurt regardless.

I'm not articulating this well, but what I'm trying to say that is that it pleased me to see the portrayal of someone that complex - and relationships that complex.

You... You... You teases!

Talk about cliffhangers! Come back and write, you can't leave it like that!

You guys, it's so nice to see you writing again after the pause in December!

I'm so very happy to see more Harry/Oliver action, I was wondering if it would ever happen, what with Harry shying away from people more and more... I hope Oliver manages to take him out of his shell!

There aren't enough pregnant!Neville posts to satisfy me, though! And Luna, Faelan and Padma, they should come out and play too! I miss them terribly, I hope they're all well and they'll come back soon...

And congratulations to Mr. Gaius for finally snatching his man! And to Mr. Regulus too, he needs someone to cuddle with after all he's been through!

One last thing, and please don't kill me because I know that I'm biased :P I know it's been a long time since we last saw him but... has Draco always been such a prick? Or is this just for plot purposes? 'Cause I remember he was a bit callous sometimes, but I think he loved Harry enough to give him a longer response than that... or maybe it's really just me being biased ;P

ETA: Ok, not such a prick anymore...

I thought he was just going to leave it at that! Thanks to Harry for answering and for all you guys for giving it some closure! I felt Draco's first answer was a little too abrupt, and as much as I miss him I'm glad Harry can now go with his life with a lighter heart!
