Who: Tony Stark, Steve Rogers What: There might be a little jealousy happening. Where: Their place. When: September 9th. Late.
Every once in a while, Tony worried about some pretty normal stuff. Like, not crazy alternate dimension stuff but the sort of things that were a concern by living in one of them.
Like dentists. They didn’t have one. How was he going to schedule a cleaning? Would he just have to wander through a door and then find a place that would take walk ins? Was that even a trust-worthy sort of dentist? Tony didn’t know. And it bothered him.
But it didn’t bother him quite enough to not snag one of the little stashed bags of chocolate from the kitchen on his way in from a too long day in his workshop. He was unwrapping the foil on one of them and popping it into his mouth even as he snuck into the bedroom. The lights were off, and the blue of his reactor lit his way, even through his shirt, but just because the lights weren’t on didn’t mean that Steve would be asleep — or, well, if he had been, he wasn’t anymore. He most always woke up when Tony came in to bed.
Which was why Tony didn’t pretend to tip toe around — just toes his shoes and socks off and flopped down on the bed tiredly, already half-way into another candy.
