They really needed to find a hardware store through the doors to have keys made. Or just not lock their doors. Or just move in together. Well, that last thought came a little abruptly but it wasn't one Bucky was afraid of, especially after he found the gift he wanted to give Clint after he'd received it. In fact, he was surprised he hadn't really thought about it as much sooner. Maybe because they just spent their nights together anyway at one place or another. Also probably because taking on Tony the goat Stark on was a big commitment on every level and he knew it'd be asking a lot of Clint. Anyway. Bucky was in a really good mood, and he really wanted to go to see his super amazing boyfriend and watch his Dog Cops because Clint loved it so much (and he was admittedly a little curious).
He made his way to Clint's, hands in the pockets of his jeans. There was almost a little bounce to his step. Much to his surprise, but also not surprising at all, the butterflies he felt whenever he thought about Clint were still running rampant, fluttering their wings in his chest. Clint had said the door was open, so he didn't waste any time in letting himself in. Everything still looked the same, which was great because he'd miss the nest if it was gone.
"Oh look, a purple shirt directly in line with my peripheral vision. I'll be taking you later," he said, loud enough that he knew even with Clint's hearing aids dialed down he would've heard him. He couldn't wait to see him, to get his arms around him and hold him, kiss him, show him how happy he was just to be with him.
