Barefeet traipsed along the wooden planks of the ceiling, dancing and shaking his hips with each step, Fleetwood Mac's 'Don't Stop' blaring from a speaker that was sitting on a table in the corner of the room. The music bounced off the walls of the smallish lab, reverberating against the glass and plastic tubing that extended across 6 foot and 8 foot tables. There were a couple of beakers heating up on a plate in the middle of one of the tables, bubbling with a reddish liquid, coagulating into some sort of gelatin. In his own hand was a flask which he was in the middle of swirling and shaking up, while he continued his one man show for no one, singing along at the top of his lungs to the song, "Don't. Stop. Thinking about tomorrow! Don't. Stop... it'll soon be heeeerrreee!!!"
His voice cracked under the pressure of singing a song terribly, undulating soundwaves mixing horrendously with the actual music playing for him. Still, thinking himself alone, Peter didn't much care. Dressed in a pair of jeans and a plain white t-shirt, the singing nerd continued to shake up the flask before, dropping the flask and spinning around to air guitar his way through a solo, then suddenly firing a string of webbing into the flask before it hit the ground, pulling it back towards him.
Bringing the liquid up to his mask covered eyes (yes, he was wearing the Spider-Man mask), he read the read outs on the chemistry and then descended on a webline, to set the flask next to the beaker, and reached to take the beaker off the heating plate. Setting the beaker down beneath a couple of burettes, he reached out and slowly turned a nozzle, dripping a couple of drops into the beaker, causing a puff of smoke which he winced away from. Then turned off the nozzle, and poured the contents of the flask into the beaker. Watching it bubbling up and nearly over the edge before stopping and descending into a more white substance.
As that bubbled a bit, he tugged his way towards the ceiling and the music changed to "Total Eclipse of the Heart", which he then also started to sing along with, "Every now and then I fall apart! And I need you now tonight!"
It was at about that time that the microwave beeped and he webbed the door, pulling it open, webbing the larger flask out of it, and looking at it, and then sighed, "Well shit..."
