Bill was flirting, he usually was when he was breathing. Sure it got him in trouble sometimes, but he was usually pretty good about judging when he was going to offend and when he might make someone smile. Besides John was looking right back, even if he wasn't interested everyone liked to be looked at.
And wasn't that shyness in him just charming and Bill couldn't help but grin. "Like you haven't been around the block yet, mate," he said. "Weird is right, there's all sorts here. The bird in there is green," Bill pointed back at the coffee shop. "And her sister is blue, believe it or not."
He laughed as he gave his shoulders a shrug. "I 'aint got an accent, you're the one with the accent. Grew up in the English Countryside though, not dissimilar from this place," he said with a glance around.
