Steve hadn't actually referred to Tony as his anything yet and wasn't sure what word he might use. He was just his Tony, nothing else would really express it, not after everything they'd been through, everything good and bad that they'd been to each other. But couple was nice, what was nicer was how open Tony was about it. He'd come from a time where it would be hidden away and shameful so to have Tony own not just his sexuality but his relationship was a simple joy. "It's been working real well, I want to keep at it," Steve said and he was smiling but he very much meant it.
Tony may have kept to his coffee but Steve did not, he made his way through the selection like a super soldier would. The croissant was wonderfully light and buttery and he tore a bitesize piece off and held it out to Tony for him to try. "It's amazing how different they are, some of them are on fire, some floating, others flying," Steve said with a nod.
Watching Tony get excited was one of Steve's favourite things, it was contagious. "Maybe after the gallery we can get away from the city and see some more of them?"
