"A Vulpix," Natsaha repeated, though hearing her say it made the creature's head perk up, as though it was an affirmation. "Okay. A Vulpix it is. She looks kind of like a fox, doesn't she?" Gwen was right about another thing, too: the creature did look like she was cold, like maybe Snowpoint City wasn't necessarily her natural habitat. Natasha crouched down, lowering one knee into the snow and her braid falling over her shoulder as she extended a hand out towards the little fox.
She didn't expect it to come bounding over quite as quickly as it did. Whatever else, Pokemon as a whole didn't seem to be creatures with a ton of trust issues, but it was unexpectedly sweet when the vulpix trotted over and nuzzled at her hand. Natasha's head jerked up, surprised as she looked at Gwen with a delighted kind of smile. "Okay - you called that one right, well run mission, Gwen," she said.
The vulpix bounded up onto her knee, paws reaching out to bat at the end of her braid like it was curious, burrowing a little closer for warmth. "She really is pretty cute, isn't she?"
