Who: Thor & Jan What: A challenge When: Wednesday Where: Courtyard Rating: Low
Everyone seemed to be on the up and up after the grand opening of Pancho's and it seemed that they were all being fairly successful in creating a normal life here. Kinda. Jan wasn't even sure how many people were still looking into getting back home, but she knew her own desire was fleeting. But, that didn't stop her from flying down the well that morning to try and find how the water could be filtered; where was it coming from? She had assumed the river nearby, but then how could the water be cleaned? While there may not have seemed like much technological advances in this place, Jan was beginning to wonder if it was more advanced than they thought. The network that was already connected to every phone, clean drinking water, and the doorway seemed to indicate there was something more to Starklandia. Magic maybe?
A shadow crossed over the top and Jan glanced up, shading her eyes to try and see who it was so she could call a warning...or not. She wasn't sure how many people knew about her ability and didn't want to scare them. Still, she thought the face looked familiar and flew up, blinking a couple of times as her eyes readjusted to the sun.
"Thor? Is that you?" She grew big, figuring it was him but on second glance, it wasn't her Thor. Again. Still, it didn't stop her from beaming up at him, taking in his appearance. "Wow, you look good." She beamed, hoping he could roll with the punches. "I'm Jan! Janet Van Dyne in case you know of me, but if not, that's alright. Not a lot of people are familiar." She shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal, even if it was a HUGE deal to Jan. But everyone was friendly and open and seemed to be pretty cool. She could roll with that.
