Who: Steve Rogers and Baby Tony Stark What: Important talk Where: Tony's When: Sunday afternoon
It wasn't like the appearance of the piece of vibranium was the first time Steve had thought about marrying Tony Stark. No he'd thought about that plenty. He'd wondered off and on for years if Tony was the marrying type, long before he'd actually gone and done it, with someone else. But he'd thought about it a lot more since they'd fallen utterly in love. Steve was head over head over heals and so of course he thought about marrying him, about just a little something there, just their nearest and dearest. Maybe it was silly, there was no church, no paperwork but marriage had never been about that to him.
Once it had seemed like something he'd never have, something that would never be for him. But the world was different now. Steve was different. So he thought about it, about how it would feel to call Tony husband. So when the metal appeared, a small piece that felt so familiar in his hand he'd known what he wanted to do with it.
Steve knocked on Tony's door, a couple of cokes in one hand and a bag of chips in the other, because he wasn't one to go showing up empty handed, especially looking for a favor.
