Okay, it's done! We finally have power after some hard work and tinkering (thanks for everyone who helped). Just be careful of the cord if you're going through the doorway any time soon. Don't worry, it's a temporary thing. We're just using a little power from the convention to help jumpstart the system until it can run itself.

Please don't plug in anything that will use too much energy for the next few days. Not sure how well the engine can handle it.
