This was fun to read. I've always wondered why no one used a time turner to try to go back and prevent the Potters' deaths (I mean, I understand why JKR didn't; she would have had no story then. But within the HP universe...) Anyway, you write a very plausible version of the possibilities. I like the way your AU ended up, and I like the way you've structured the chronology of the story.

	Thank you. It's interesting to look for an appropriate point to change the time stream. The logical move is to go to the orphanage and strangle that little Riddle brat in his cradle, but that's awfully hard-hearted, and then where would the story be? (Reply to this) (Parent)

	I loved this more pragmatic solution! Of course they would use Time Turners! Also Lily ending up marrying Sirius is actually plausible! And I'm happy that Harry did not have to go through his terrible childhood! (Reply to this) (Thread)

	I enjoyed writing it, and I'm glad that you enjoyed reading it. I can imagine Remus bringing out an album of magical pictures to show Severus and telling him about what a great time they had -- and then taking him back to the same place to have a wonderful time all over again.
