Still way behind in my reading (and much else) so I have only a few recs today. A snarry, a snupin and I swear I'll get it together again. Hopefully.
SNARRY:
An Awkward Customer by anya elizabeth.
Rating: nc-17
Warning/s: EWE
Summary: Snape can't figure out why Potter is hanging around his shop.
After sharing my admiration for this fic with
spidermoth, who recced it to a snarry-lover at LJ, I decided to rec this story today. It's a marvelous story - one of the highlights of this year's snarryathon. It's very funny and so sexy it will melt you to your bones, but it is the brilliant characterization of Severus that marks its quality. Snape's voice is at times bitter, sour, miserable, dark, confident, witty, sexy, malicious, competant, vindictive, self-depreciating, self-justifying, and above all so magnificently appealing. I've read it over and again since it was first posted earlier this year - if you haven't had the chance to read it, please do, it's too good to miss! Go read it and leave some love for the author if you enjoy it.
SNUPIN:
Waxing Moon by
whitestar (whitestar_alpha at LJ.)
Rating: pg
Warning: AU
Summary: The waxing moon always seems to bring out the wolf in Remus, not that he could ever tell Severus that.
A lovely piece of writing, a reveling in the increased sensory perceptions of the werewolf as the moon waxes. It is rich with effective descriptions of synaesthesia, a confusion and overloading of the senses - and how Remus experiences the close proximity of Severus with his heightened sensitivity. Lovely! Don't forget to tell the author how much you liked it!
