I was very disillusioned by DH, particularly since HBP was so good. After HBP I thought that JKR had finally gotten into her stride as a writer and all the Deux Ex Machina plots shown in earlier books had been gotten out of her system.
But DH showed me that HBP was the exception to the rule. I felt that DH was riddled with obvious plot devices, loose ends, and illogical fuzzy thinking pretty much all the way through, including the horrendous "camping trip" used to pad out much of the book.
I can't even attempt to apply logic to the last book: it became obvious that JKR was just finishing the series any old how and didn't really care too much about internal consistency.
