    You know, I never would have thought of that profession, but OMG!!!! would he ever be good at it. If I was ever in some deep doo-doo I would totally want him as my solicitor! Great idea :-)

    I could see him as a feisty Rumpole type, defending those who seem to be without defense, making scathing remarks to those who rarely realize they've been targeted. I could see him getting a reputation as a shady lawyer with shady clients, although the reputation would never be deserved.

    Aw, that's wonderful! What a perfect and apt profession. I can see him enjoying it so very much! He would be a brilliant orator - as when he spoke of potions and the dark arts! His disdain for his opponents would become legendary! And he could be proud of his masterful display of the skills that were wasted on his ungrateful students.

    He won every case he put forth, obviously.

    My only worry is whether this is any safer than spying as a double agent. Remember the quote from Shakespeare? "First thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers..." But Severus would be brilliant at it, while he lasted! :-D
