Belated. I sincerely apologise.

Though this was my first idea when the topic was announced, there was the similar theme from
alisonven and I put off doing it. Eventually I decided to draw it anyway. If you think it appropriate to eliminate it from the contest, that is fine and I will certainly understand. It's just based on a couple of my Sev stories and my love of my ipod. My Sev is not enamoured by muggle things.

There is no new challenge yet, because the winner of this sets the next challenge. I am naughty and late.
is that a Walkman he has in 1979? (I think I got my first Walkman in 1980)
NICE job with artPad, btw.
And great job on the art! I don't remember ladybug transistor radios in the 70s, but I do remember a lot of "pop" culture shapes, like yellow smiley faces. Groovy.
Thank you so much! It took a long time because the site was lagging in the midst of brushstrokes. but artpad is fun! I must comment on the other pictures! I loved the yoga one, as in your icon. 8^)
Ha, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive ...

Because, you know, the more badass they want to appear to the world, the more mushy and dorky they are at heart. ;-)
Of course, it's not advisable to let Sev HEAR you calling him mushy and dorky (that WOULD be mental)...but yeah. I can also see him as being a bit of a romantic at heart, especially later on. You know that song "She" by Elvis Costello? I can see that being on his iPod, along with the soundtrack to Sleepless in Seattle. Secretly, mind you - not even Voldemort armed with a herd of wild hippogriffs could drag THAT admission out of him.
Seriously, though, you ought to write a one-shot of your little "mental image." It would be hilarious, and adorable.
Wonderful painting.
