The January Challenge

Since I won't be around until January 7th, I'm giving you the challenge early.

January 2009: Severus' Hair.

I want to focus on Snape-centric clichés this year, and will post challenges accordingly. However, if you have an idea or wish for a challenge, please tell me. I'll put up a seperate post for that.

As usual, post ideas, creative meta, art surrounding this topic. I'm looking forward to your entries.

A Happy New Year, with lots of Severus-related fun, to you all.
  • Hee hee, I'll get right on it! I wonder if there's any other fictional character *in history* who had so many stories focused on their hair, btw? Perhaps Rapunzel?
    Alison
  • But Rapunzel's hair at least is not greasy. We know only this and nothing else about poor Snape's hair:black,shoulder-length and GREASY...No one in the world can be able to keep his hair ALWAYS greasy, except for Snape it seems.I believe his hair is LANK and Harry -as always when it comes to Snape- makes the worst of it!
    • Indeed in Spinner's End, when the POV isn't Harry's Severus' hair is not described as greasy.
  • Hello! I have questions! I would like to write about Severus' hair. I know I've left it late... *looks embarrassed*
Do I post as a comment to this thread? Do I post to the com?

If I wish to ramble generally about some aspect or idea I have of Snape (other than fic,) may I post to the com?

I am having a lot of fun with everything.
    • I'm glad you're having fun! :)
I prefer it when people post on their own (we're open to posts from anyone about anything as long as it is Snape- or Snape-fic/art related, which is almost anything). If you're not certain, ask away. If we don't reply, because melusin and I are both busy, just post away. Unless it's something trollish or the like, chances are that we leave it up, maybe with a reminder or explanation.

The dates for the challenges aren't set either. I just put them up each month and make a banner for the posts during that month. Posts with that topic after that month won't get a banner unless you ask for one. It's no problem to make another banner, it's just that I don't actively go looking for later posts. You can post about every past challenge whenever you like.
