I've seen memes on individual journals where people post their wishes and get some fulfilled by people on their flist.
I've seen comments here and there that people don't have any icons, would like a banner, an illustration, a drabble, something else.
Does that sound like another exchange to you? No, no, it isn't, not really.
What I want you to do is this: reply to this post and post three ideas or wishes. I'll post my own underneath in a reply so you can see what I mean.
(But don't annoy us––as an aside to the sporkers. ;) ) ETA: Please post your gifts in a separate post. That way we'll all pay attention and can admire properly. If you're not a snapedom member, I can post them in your name. But chat as much as you like on this thread here. :)

If you have time, feel like it, clean up your harddrive and find things... maybe one of these things would fulfill one of my wishes without costing you much work and time. Then, please, go and fulfill it. Or combine wishes and post a general gift, make a post where you post your icons you don't mind being used by others. Like that. You don't need to claim a prompt. You can even fulfill or post wishes anonymously, either by asking me to post it for you or by replying to this post here.
If you post wishes here, be aware that they don't have to be fulfilled. They shouldn't cost money either. This would exclude most crafts and original art, this time around. Please restrict it to gifts that can be posted here. The prompts are more meant as idea-givers than as personal gifts you desperately want to get. Make it 'nice-to-have' not 'must-have' prompts. Really personal wishes should be kept to your private journals.
Most presents really are meant for everyone, even if they are triggered by a prompt. Some wishes may be fulfilled in a personal way, others may be for all of us. Some wishes may be fulfilled many times, some never. Don't be upset when that happens, just post them again in another fest/exchange. We're all busy this time of the year. Let's see if we can come up with a bit of Underground-fluff at all. ;)

btw...this is just personal, gratuitous info, but my son has been channeling Snape for most of his life, I just didn't know it in the beginning, and a year or two ago he asked me to make him a custom Christmas stocking. It had to be black, with a red lightening bolt, and evidence of an explosion! Hee! He's a dark one, is my boy... I made an icon of it. See? *points above*

My HP holiday wish list...
1) A strict and fearless writing mentor/beta!
2) A Mer!Snape (or other characters) drabble/fic.
3) Recs of favorite fics--any pairing but prefer slash. (and love Snape, Draco, Harry, and Charlie or Bill)
3) Have fallen in love with this fic from snupin_santa - The Third Attempt. Don't know if snupin is your cup of tea - it ends with a threesome - Sirius/Severus/Remus, & while threesomes all too often are not my thing... this one works & is very hot. The fic is a Sherlock Holmes-ish, steam-punk-ish, set in Victorian-England-ish murder mystery AU & despite my horrid-sounding description, it works really well.
I remember that I promised to write something, too. I did have a plot in mind, and it would have been sshg, but after the silvering divide... maybe a gen drabble? But it would be more of an easter present. ;)
What squicks do you regularly write, if any?
I crit, SPAG-check, and generally talk shop with my RL scifi/fantasy group and could add more monthly reading, depending on how much comes in at a time.
(But I am fierce and blunt and if given the green light will shred stories, so the writer should be fearless, too.)

1) I am looking for low-sugar or no-sugar dessert recipes. we are on a special food plan that restricts processed sugar and wheat. it's not an allergy or a food intolerance, so we do eat small amounts for special occasions, but it would be nice if we could have an option that wasn't actually 'cheating'.
2) courage (and encouragement, perhaps?) to write and post more of my longish fanfic, despite the low review rates. I write the less popular pairings, what can I say?
