I like the opening scene a lot, how you depict the traumatic effects of Nagini's attack on Severus, not only physically but psychologically. In this case, he had some expectation that he might survive, so he would be more mentally prepared to deal with survival than if, say, it had been an unexpected healing by Fawkes. Still, it was a pretty hideous thing to have to live through, and you've captured that well.
Never thought of the werewolf transformation having the power to raise the dead! That *would* freak everyone out. Maybe AK isn't enough; the DE's should've used a silver bullet to be sure.
I also like the interaction between Severus and Remus. More bark than bite... so to speak. ;-) Near-death has a way of making people let down their shields.
