Wow, I really liked that, especially the way you subtly included and sometimes twisted so many lines from canon:

It makes me ill, too, to think of Lily marrying him out of guilt or pity, rather than because she truly loved him. It's probably a sad-but-true idea, though. The canon characters would not probably have been compatible with one another, in the end. (Still, we can dream, can't we?)
I like perceptive Al who apparently doesn't let on about what he knows, too. (Is "Al" still Albus Severus? *chuckles*)
