I am very, very pleased to see such great discussion here. Thanks, everyone!
However, discussion will always also attract spammers and trolls, and I have a zero tolerance level for them, and therefore I inform you that posts of the type: 'Snape's a greasy git, get a life' without any other meaningful contribution will be deleted without further comment if no one has replied to them yet. To post this on a Snape-centered asylum can only have one reason: to provoke. I do this to not tempt anyone to get all worked up. I know that you're hardened enough by now, but... ;)
I do keep a copy of the text and the IP number in an adminstrative post, just in case, to be able to make comparisons if these -always anonymous- people should find that they are on a mission. So it's still there, just not visible, and in a list instead of wildly mixed in the posts. This will not apply to people who think we are delusional and try to convince us in a meaningful way. That is called debate and always welcome, as long as it's done civilly.
Last point: does anyone remember the description for logging in by using OpenID? I know it's around here somewhere, but it'll take some time until I find it. I want to include it in the faq.
Thank you kindly.

I put a link to the OpenID procedure under the link section at
(Not that anyone's using it... grumble.)
