The Curse of the Halfblood Prince continues with new images of Snape released from the film!

First we have a really nice Snape wand action shot...



And then the infamous Unbreakable Vow scene...



And we have to wait HOW long to see this film?

In light of today's announcement that the release of Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince will be pushed to July 2009, many Snape fen are wondering if the film is cursed. How are we supposed to survive the winter without our Snapey fix?

But there is a silver lining on this pair of graying underpants: the new release date coincides with Azkatraz, HPEF's 2009 conference in San Fransisco. We are happy to report that the teaser trailer for Harry Potter and the Half-blood Prince has finally been released and is viewable via this link. Unfortunately the previews do not include an appearance by the title character, Severus Snape. Poor Sevy.

Because Warner Brothers won't give us our Snapey fix, Snapecast will be putting out a special "Happy Birthday Harry" episode featuring audio from the live Snapecast at Portus. Stay tuned for upcoming episodes featuring audio from SnapeFest and full coverage of the upcoming HBP film.
