How would Snape fit into the world of printed comics? What would he say to Superman, Catwoman, the Flash, the Hulk, Prince Valiant, Andy Capp, Garfield, or Harvey Pekar? What would he think of the Batcave, the Xavier Institute, Swamp Okefenokee, or the Dreaming? What would he do with the determination of a charging Hobbes or the psychological advice of Lucy Van Pelt? What special power would he have as part of the X-Men or the Justice League? Would he fit in the TV-generated comics of the Simpsons or Buffy? How would Stan Lee or Los Bros Hernandez write Snape? How would Osamu Tezuka or someone like Roy Lichtenstein picture him? Who would his sidekicks be? What supervillains would he face? How would Snape fit in the world of comic heroism and angst? How would Snape's scenes in the HP books look if they were drawn as comics?
