All good things must come to an end except for Snarry which is eternal, and so, with this post, The 2009 Easter Edition Snarry-a-Thon has officially come to a close. All artist and author names have been added to the individual posts and beta names (if provided) have been restored. If you notice any errors, please let me know!

And now, without further ado, the Big Reveal:

The Snarry-a-Thon would like to thank everyone who participated in both our contests. We were thrilled with all the detailed and thoughtful comments as well as had fun will everyone who took part in the guessing game. Both contests officially ended at 12:01 AM (EST) on Friday, May 8.

I'd again like to thank littleblackbow for so generously donating two pieces of original art for our contest winners. The winner of the "Top Commenter" Award will receive a completely WS journal with a portrait of Snape and Harry on the front and back covers and the winner of the Guessing Game will receive littleblackbow's Snarry-a-Thon art entry, "Because Maybe".

I will say that I was forced to resort to the services of the Goblet of Fire in determining winners for both contests as there was more than one potential winner for each.( Contest Winners Below the Cut... )

As some of you may be aware, the Snarry-a-Thon is holding two contests. One prize will be awarded to the top commenter and the other will be awarded to the person who correctly matches the identities of the most artists and authors with their creations.

Regular posting for the 2009 Easter Edition Snarry-a-Thon is now over!

I'd like to take a moment to thank all of you - artists, authors, readers, watchers, commenters, reccers, betas, and lurkers alike - for all of your contributions and continuing support of our ship. Hopefully we have fully put to rest those silly rumors that our ship was in desperate need of last rites. ;D ( More love and CONTEST info behind the cut... )

No problem! You don't have to be 100% sure, make a guess! If you're wrong, no one will see it but us mods. But if you're RIGHT - well then, you just might be the lucky one to walk away with some gorgeous original art created for this fest by littleblackbow. After the final entry has posted, but before the reveals, we'll be offering some clues to which entry belongs to what participant. But it's never too early to start guessing. And you can change your guess until right before the reveals. We'll give you plenty of notice before the contest ends. Good luck!

In a just a few hours, posting for snape_potter's Snarry-a-thon (Easter Edition) will begin. The first post will go up on Sunday, April 12 at 8 am EST and will continue through the last day of the month. Regular posting will be three amazing Snarry creations per day at 8 am, 12 noon, and 8 pm.

We're looking forward to all the Snarry goodness. We have an amazing variety of stories and art, and we're really excited about posting them!

For our members this doesn't mean that they shouldn't continue to post their art or fic to the comm. The anonymous Snarry-a-thon entries will be clearly labeled. In fact, we encourage you to post your creations. We want the Snarry-a-thon to be a big festival of our ship that excludes no one. One or the other of the fest entries might even inspire you to create a fan drabble or drawble ... ;D

Comments are another way of celebrating the Snarry. That's why we thought it a good idea to have a prize for the top commenter. We'll count one comment per person per Snarry-a-thon entry, as long as it refers to the creation. Our participants welcome squee as well as thought-out reviews. Show the authors and artists your love and support!

To have still more fun, we'll end the Snarry-a-thon with a guessing game. There'll be a prize for that winner as well.

And now we're proud to present the prizes. littleblackbow (chibitoaster on LJ) has made the very generous donation of two original works of art. One is a Snape & Harry journal and the other a Snape & Harry drawing. One will be awarded to the top commenter, the other for the winner of the guessing game. (In the case of a tie, names will be placed into the Goblet of fire and the winner drawn from that.)
