How long in Snape/Harry Fandom: An appallingly short time - since last July, shortly after DH2 came out. Things I do in fandom (reader, writer, artist, vidder, mod, beta, newsletter editor, reccer, lurker, squee-er): First and foremost a reader, because there is just so much good Snarry out there. I started rec'cing a lot once I'd read through a lot of the old fic and started realizing that there was a lot of new stuff, too, and I started writing late last year. I'm fortunate to have been allowed to beta for some wonderfully talented writers, as well. So, you know, jack of all trades. ;) favorite Snape/Harry themes: It's easier to say what I don't especially like, since I like so much. I can't really read sadfic. Like, at all. Dark, yes. Angsty, OH yeah. H/C, you betcha. UST, yes please. But sadfic? Cannot do it; if for no other reason than it wreaks havoc with my sinuses. I'm not especially into 15-and-younger chan, nor am I into S&M of the bodily excretion/fluid variety; but I love, love, love, love, love, love, love (ad nauseum) a Dominant/possessive Snape and his boy Harry, I adore courtship and forced bonding fic, and I also have a soft spot for well-written humor. And long stories. And insightful drabbles. And everything in-between. Purple'd prose. You name it. OTPer or do you sail on many ships? If so, which ones? OTP, baby. OTP (although I do like reading different pairings that people on my FL come up with; but I save my longfic stamina for the OTP). Canon or fanon?: Canon-based fanon? I dunno - as long as the characters are recognizable and reasonably consistent, I don't really care.
Other fandom(s): Hong Kong stars of the 80s/90s; X-Files; Star Trek (TOS/NG/DS9); bit of BBC Sherlock. Frodo/Sam. Anything else you'd like us to know: I'm a doctor. But not the useful kind. The other kind. And I have two youngish kids. So, I guess I'm Dr. Mom. And...I speak Japanese. Well.
