(here via magialuna's rec. Thank *you*, magialuna!^^)
Of all stories written on the topic, this one reads most 'realistic' to me; perhaps it's that your set-up at the beginning of this, for Harry and for Snape, reads the most believable to me - but somehow, when you described where Snape was in his life, I understood both his current position in life (or lack of said position, sadly), as well as Harry's situation. =) Maybe understanding is key to enjoying a nice story - but anyway, from the way you set everything up in the beginning, the story only got better from there. Also the fact that you did something *more* to the Harry/Voldemort story that the end of the HP saga deserves - you gave them an ending. A sad ending, but a 'good' ending, (believable!), even though it's sad. Thank you for doing this.
I was reading to the end in the hope of seeing that Harry meant something *more* to Snape, despite his seeming coldness towards their 'relationship.' And that is why (thought it is sad), I like the last line.
*clutches at Harry and Snape, sobbing right along with Snape* ;_;
Thank you for writing this. *goes to add to Memories*
