This is so extremely powerful. I usually don't care much for angst, but this feels so much like how DH ought to have ended--well, the sex might have been a bit out of place in a children's book. lol--but it felt realistic to the characters. This feels very much raw and elemental to Severus, Harry and Tom Riddle--the three lost boys and the resolution of their stories. I don't think that it would have been quite so easy to get rid of Tom. I also don't buy the happy ending with Ginny and Harry having no problems afterward. No PTSD, no lingering effects of his childhood abuse. Yeah, right. And whether Snape was attacked in a boathouse or the Shrieking shack, he's a Potions Master. He didn't die. That's just my reality. lol. If stupid Arthur Weasley didn't die from that snake then Snape didn't.
This is excellent. Sad, true. But just really, really excellently written in every way. You kept me totally engaged all the way through. Yes, it was somewhat cruel but it totally made sense. Very impressive.
