Oh. Er. Hrm. I think the phrase here is, once again, easy-going slut. I'm liable to read just about anything, and while angstfic and character death and noncon stuff are usually far from the highest, I still occasionally find myself deliberately hunting them down. (Often when I'm already really depressed, to be completely honest. It doesn't help my mood, but it makes me feel a little less... isolated, I guess. xD)
That said, I prefer happy/humor/happy-eventually for the shorter stuff, and stuff that echoes the ups and downs of life, from the angst to the outrageously WTFy to the happy to the simple contentedness and building a life together that, well, keeps on keeping on through it all. RaeWhit is an absolute MASTER at that sort of fic; I can attribute at least one fic-prompted spate of tears to her work. (And I tend to have a ridiculous LOVE of stuff that can make me cry. Or scared, but that leads into the next bit..) I, honestly, have a kinda secret adoration for dark!fic when it's handled well and isn't all just "ohwoe, rape and abuse and ANGST". Actually my definition is probably Harry-goes-dark-for-whatever-reason. :D Is this actually a genre? xD Also well written horror makes me happy. Simply delighted.
So, as an overview.. I prefer romance/action/adventure/pornerotica but will generally read anything interesting enough in the right mood. (Some stuff I cannot read, otherwise. ...Yet somehow it's always the right mood for Shivani's "Control Issues" which isn't Snarry anyway so I don't know why I'm even mentioning it. xD)
Yeah. Slut. I know. xDD
