*Stunned* - This is a powerfully moving story. Emotionally complex and deeply satisfying. All your characters were so fully fleshed - Remus, while not the ideal that Snape thought, wasn't a terrible person, just deeply flawed and unable to face his own shortcomings. Snape - calculating but not unmoving or uncaring, just unable to understand his own psyche. I liked his inner turmoil over the lack of bonding with his daughter. I think many mothers actually have this issue - somehow it's supposed to be automatic and for some it's just not, it has to be worked on. Harry, incredibly giving and yet has his own weaknesses. I loved how Snape hated Tonks and then grew to respect her as one of his few allies. I loved how you portrayed her. Thank you for writing such a richly complex and compelling story. I love how they don't automatically have a happy ending, but there's obvious hope for the future if they work on it.
